Summary: 100 word drabble for January scavenger hunt.
The lunaris stalked the porcupine, long body coiled up in anticipation as he crouched, eyes fixed on his prize. He was sure that the creature would be delicious as long as that spiky outer shell (well, not shell, exactly, but he wasn't precisely sure what to call it) was discarded.
The porcupine sat there, like a lump.
The lunaris wriggled his rump and pounced, claws grasping for the porcupine.
The porcupine curled into a prickly ball.
A spine jabbed at the lunaris's face. He yelped and fled.
The porcupine swaggered off into the forest, spines swaying in a confident manner.
