Summary: Minimum of 250 words as to why there is light in a santas bag.
A santas bag is rather an enigma. At first glance it seems to be a small red pouch, plain in color and style, and yet, when you open it, a bright light spills forth from within, like a miniature sun is hiding within the cloth confines. What is even more magical than the light, hard though that is to imagine, is the wondrous gifts that the santa bag holds inside, which can be anything from a breeding coin to a slashbot to a pink octoberry.
And so, the question must be asked: Exactly what is this light from within the santas bag that lets loose such unimaginable prizes? No matter how a person searches inside the pouch it seems nothing more than a small bag. There is no light source within that can explain it, nor does any substance coat the inside that might explain the luminescent glow. It is a puzzle that I have undertaken to explain and, after many long months of careful examination, have finally formed a concrete hypothesis.
It is, quite simply put, magic.
What a copout! one might cry. I agree. For all that it seems rather apparent, so obvious, it is, perhaps, the simplest answer one might give. That said, the next question is even more important: if the light is magic, what is its source? Why is it shining so?
And that, my friends, has given many a scholar a headache. One thing is certain, that the santas bag was made by an individual named Santa. Santa had imbued this bag with certain magic traits using his own energy—this is my hypothesis, mind—that mimics his own power to a lesser degree. Lesser, because one can only obtain a single item from the bag, while Santa has the ability to pull out as many items as need be.
So the light is Santa's magic that he had put into the santas bag. It shines as it does through the power of belief—a child's belief in this being called Santa and the goods that he bestows. That is what the light in santas bag is and it shines because of a most intriguing individual with a heart of gold.
